In 1957, the genius moustache wearer that was Colin Chapman built a lively little two-seater sports car. The car was designed to be ‘fit for purpose’ – Chapman wanted owners to be able to experience the joy and pride of building their own car and then take it on track.
To that end, he came up with the mantra “Simplify, then add lightness” and the Seven was born.
Over sixty years on, Caterham – which acquired the rights to build and develop the Seven from Chapman in 1973 – is still adhering to Chapman’s original philosophy and is still turning out variants of the Seven that don’t so much shout ‘fun’ at you, as grab you by the lapels and scream it in your face.
With a line-up of models that range in power from 125bhp to 310bhp, each car weighing just over 500kg, Caterham’s eight Seven variants features something for every taste, every level of driving experience. Production of Caterham’s unique British cars is exclusively from within the UK- fro…

Lancia (Italian: [ˈlantʃa]) is an Italian car manufacturer and a subsidiary of FCA Italy S.p.A., which is currently a Stellantis division. The present legal entity of Lancia was formed in January 2007 when its corporate parent reorganised its businesses, but its history is traced back to Lancia & C., a manufacturing concern founded in 1906 in Torino by Vincenzo Lancia and Claudio Fogolin. It became part of Fiat in 1969.
The brand is known for its strong rallying heritage, and technical innovations such as the unibody chassis of the 1922 Lambda and the five-speed gearbox introduced in the 1948 Ardea. Despite not competing in the World Rally Championship since 1992, Lancia still holds more Manufacturers' Championships than any other brand.
Sales of Lancia-branded vehicles declined from over 300,000 annual units sold in 1990 to less than 100,000 by 2010. After corporate parent Fiat acquired a stake in Chrysler in 2009, the Lancia brand portfolio was modifie…
Established in 1998 by the Duke of Richmond, the Goodwood Road Racing Club offers its members exclusive benefits across the estate and a year-round calendar of events at Goodwood and beyond, including the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting held at the circuit each spring.
The Club is much sought-after but numbers are capped to maintain its exclusivity, so in 2017 the GRRC Fellowship was launched so those on the waiting list to join the club could enjoy a taster of what the full membership has to offer. Since then, the Fellowship has grown beyond just those Members-in-Waiting, to include those who simply want to enjoy the carefully selected Goodwood benefits.
Being a GRRC Member has allowed me to experience Goodwood from a whole new perspective, being at the centre of the best of British motorsport. The world's greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture!
Held in the beautiful parkland surrounding Goodwood House, th…
